Leaving the pastels and synthesizers far behind Michael Mann reinvents his original series into a hard-boiled police drama. Unfortunately, also gone is the witty dialogue and character chemistry that made the TV show such a hit. Don't come looking for snappy one-liners, these cops take their job very seriously. Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx star as Crockett and Tubbs while Chinese actress Gong Li steps into the role of good girl gone bad/love interest.
