An ambitious, low-budget neo-noir that navigates the genre's tawdry twists and double-crosses with intermittent flair. Lou Diamond Phillips is Manny, autistic and recently released from a prison for the criminally insane. Easy prey for undesirables, Manny would seem to be the perfect patsy, but, naturally everything is not as it seems. James McDaniel co-stars as the vengeful cop who can't leave Manny alone.
