Frontline: Series 1

Bitingly satirical and cruelly funny, this Australian 'mockumentary' series takes a perfectly aimed swipe at current affairs television as it goes behind-the-scenes to show us what goes into the making of these weekly 'news' programs. Great cast includes New Zealand's own Bruno Lawrence in his last acting role as the hardboiled producer, and Rob Sitch as the preening presenter who also co-wrote the show and went on to write 'The Castle' and 'The Dish'. Sharp as a tack.
