The Picture of Dorian Gray

Can the gift of eternal youth and beauty be a curse? It is in this made-for-TV rendition of the Oscar Wilde shocker. Shane Briant plays the debauched 19th-century nobleman who makes an unholy pact permitting him eternal youth and good looks. Until he notices his portrait is beginning to age, reflecting the hideous nature of his sinful ways. Nigel Davenport co-stars as his stylishly corrupt mentor Sir Harry Wotton, while Linda Kelsey plays Dorian's sweetheart Beatrice Hallward.
