See No Evil: The Moors Murders

The story of Moors Murderers, Myra Hindley and Ian Brady, is told with considerable tact, and in deference to the families of the murdered children, avoids the gratuitous details of most serial killer bio-pics. The story is revealed through the perspective of Hindley's sister, Maureen, whose husband Dave Smith, was responsible for bringing the cold-blooded pair to the attention of police. Chilling and well-told this mini-series was made after two years of pain-staking research that included interviews with Dave Smith, detectives from the case as well as the families of the young victims, who gave the project their blessing.
