The Crooked E: The Unshredded Truth About Enron
Based on Brian Cruver's startling book, 'Anatomy of Greed', this strident, made-for-TV movie chronicles the rise and fall of the notorious, Houston-based Enron Corporation. Cruver (Christian Kane) is a naive young trader seduced by Enron's get-rich-by-any-means credo, but the lavish lifestyles and extravagances are a facade that is beginning to crack. Other real-life players include Ken Lay (Mike Farrell), Jeff Skilling (Jon Ted Wynne) and whistle-blower Sherron Watkins (Jan Skene), while other characters are composites such as Brian Dennehy's sinister 'Mister Blue'.
