Balls ( Manner Wie Wer )

A feel-good comedy from Germany, in which Ecki, a young baker and goalkeeper, is kicked off his homophobic football team when caught drunkenly kissing a man. Taking the humiliation in his stride, he vows - perhaps a little rashly - to return with an all-gay squad and beat his former teammates. This crowd-pleaser won the audience award at the L.A. Outfest - who says the Germans have no sense humour?!
