Dark Star
A cult classic that began as a $6,000 project by a group of Californian students, 'Dark Star' is an earth spaceship on a mission to find and destroy any planets likely to cause a supernova. Among the hilarious scenes is the ship's captain, dead, but preserved in cold storage, who talks baseball through electrodes in his head, while bombs which have intelligence threaten to end it all by exploding prematurely.
