Billy Rose's Jumbo

This Rodgers and Hart musical was nominated for an Oscar for its score, and stars Doris Day and Jimmy Durante as circus owners who are going down the gurgler thanks to Jimmy's gambling problem. Thier biggest attraction (literally) is Jumbo the elephant, but they may lose even him to their biggest rival, John Noble (Dean Jagger). Little do they know Noble has put a spanner in their works in the form of his son, Sam (Stephen Boyd). But who would have the heart to pull a fast one on Doris? Features the songs 'This Can't Be Love', 'My Romance' and 'The Most Beautiful Girl in the World' sung by Durante.
