The End of the Affair

When bored British housewife Sarah Miles (Deborah Kerr) is introduced to American writer Maurice Bendrix (Van Johnson), the attraction between them is undeniable, but just as they begin making future plans, Sarah suddenly and mysteriously ends the affair. Unable to come to terms, Maurice hires a detective to find out what happened, and if she ever loved him. Adapted from Graham Greene's novel and co-starring John Mills.
