Director Sydney Pollack makes his documentary debut by following his old friend, ground-breaking, 'de-constructionist' architect Frank O. Gehry, around with a hand-held camera. An engaging, extended chat between pals, Gehry and Pollack take us on a tour of some of his most famous structures, including of course, the Guggenheim Museum and his own house, delve into Gehry's unique sketching style, and meet several of his famous clients such as Michael Eisner, who commissioned him for the Walt Disney Concert Hall in LA, and Dennis Hopper who lives in a Gehry-designed home. Also putting in their two-cents-worth are Gehry's long-time shrink, Milton Wexler and even the odd critic or two. Quite delightful.
