Everything Put Together

Before 'Monster's Ball', Marc Forster wrote and directed this noir-ish psychological drama about a young mother coming to terms with the death of her newborn. Radha Mitchell is excellent as the grieving mother, unable to let go of the baby she was longing for, in a tale of yuppie conformity and the angst of not measuring up. Also stars Justin Louis, Megan Mullally and Catherine Lloyd Burns.
