The Treatment
Teacher Jake Singer (Chris Eigeman) has irretrievably parted ways with his long-time girlfriend and, finding single life difficult, embarks on a bit of therapy with oddball Freudian psychoanalyst, Dr Morales (Ian Holm), whose uninhibited advice often seems to do more harm than good. Meanwhile, he meets New York socialite, and recently widowed, Allegra (Famke Janssen) and feels the lost flame of romance rekindling. Winner of Best 'Made in New York' Film at the Tribeca Film Festival, this warm and witty romantic comedy is based on the novel by Daniel Menaker, and features sparkling dialogue and a cast to match.
