Death of a President

Deeply controversial on its release, Gabriel Range's 'mockumentary' is set in the near future and imagines the aftermath to the assassination of current US pesident, George W. Bush. Skilfully blending file footage, CGI and interviews with 'experts', the cast were largely unaware of the film's premise, noone being given a full script. A gripping drama with a surprising lack of political commentary, this is a genuine attempt to look inside the adminstration that gave us the 'War on Terror'.
