Tezuka: The Experimental Films

Often considered the father of anime, and the Japanese equivalent to Walt Disney, Osamu Tezuka created such iconic animated characters as Astro Boy and Kimba the Lion. This collection brings together 13 of his own rare experimental films including 'Tales of the Street Corner' (1962), 'Jumping' (1984), 'Push' (1987) and 'Self Portrait' (1988), made shortly before he died, having completed in his lifetime 150,000 pages of manga.
