Eyes Without A Face
A macabre French horror classic with Peirre Brasseur as the disturbed Dr Genessier, a brilliant plastic surgeon whose daughter has been disfigured in a car accident. With the help of his assistant, he kidnaps beautiful young women and removes their facial features in order to create a new visage for his poor scarred daughter. Needless to say the effect on his victims is nothing short of horrific. Hauntingly poetic, this suspenseful shocker was a ground-breaking moment in the history of the artistic horror genre.
