Twelfth Night (BBC)

Directed by John Gorrie, this BBC production of Shakespeare's romantic comedy stars Felicity Kendall as Viola, a shipwrecked girl who disguises herself as a male servant and falls in love with Duke Orsino of Illyria. The odds are against Viola winning Orsino's heart, and things go from bad to worse thanks to Viola's twin brother, a confused countess, a drunkard and a ridiculous knight. Also starring: Alec McCowen and Robert Hardy.
