The Winter's Tale

The complete and unedited production of Shakespeare's classic play performed by the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1999 at the Barbican. King Leontes of Bohemia comes to believe that his wife Hermione is having an affair with his best friend Polixenes, and orders him to be poisoned. Camillo helps Polixenes escape instead, and so begins a story of jealousy, false imprisonment and mistaken identity. Stars Anthony Sher and Alexandra Gilbreath.
