'Quicksand' - Mickey Rooney is cast once again as the everyman, only this noir crime drama sees him in real jeopardy as Dan, a young man who can't afford to take his girl out, leading him to embezzle $20 from his employer. To make up the shortfall he goes into debt for a hundred and so begins a downward spiral of crime and self-destruction. 'My Outlaw Brother' - A naive dude (Mickey Rooney), heading westward to find the brother he idolizes (Robert Stack), is shepherded safely across the plains by a Texas Ranger, (Robert Preston). However, what he doesn't realize is that Stack is a notorious gunslinger...and Preston has to bring him in! 'Mickey the Great' - A young Mickey Rooney stars as the cocky, self-assured tough little kid, Mickey McGuire, in this anthology of pre-Little Rascals film shorts about the comedic misadventures of a group of neighbourhood kids from Toonerville, USA.
