A Tattooed Life

Another yakuza classic from maverick director Seijun Suzuki ('Tokyo Drifter', 'Branded to Kill') about a recently retired assassin who finds he made some dangerous enemies with his last hit. Tetsu and his brother Kenji flee to Manchuria where they go into hiding working on a construction site, but it's not long before the killer's past catches up with him in one of the most thrilling showdowns in Suzuki's stylised oeuvre.
