Hacking Democracy

Three years in the making this Emmy-nominated documentary tracks the anomalies and irregularites in America's electronic voting system, as used in the controversial 2000 and 2004 elections. Is the system tamper-proof? As the filmmakers follow two activists fighting for a return to the Black Box voting system, several methods of tampering with votes are revealed. Are these just overlooked technical glitches or a more sinister tool in the corrupt maintenance of power? That is for the viewer to decide.
