The Messengers
The Pang Brothers ('The Eye') make their English-language debut with this supernatural horror about a family who move into an old house that has been deserted for some time, since the last family left - or did they? Strange goings-on are afoot, creepy things are happening to the family's young son who is recovering from a car accident, and while night-time maybe scary, daytime isn't any better. An undoubtedly chilling, if somewhat restrained entry into the American market for brothers more well-known for their no-holds-barred approach. Kristen Stewart, Dylan McDermott and John Corbett star.
