Callan: Series 3, Part 1

Edward Woodward stars as Callan, a relentless but somewhat reluctant secret agent provocateur, working for a shadowy branch of government operations called 'the Section'. He performs his duties for 'Queen and country' under duress, but very efficiently, and always trying to ensure he is on the side of 'right'. In the midst of the Cold War, Callan is one of England's best agents. Episodes include: 'Where Else Could I Go?' - The new Hunter cannot decide if Callan is to return to the Section or not. 'Summoned to Appear' - When Cross kills an innocent bystander it's up to Callan to cover for him, but even he cannot decide if it was an accident or murder. and 'The Same Trick Twice' - An exchange of captured agents with the Soviets goes sour.
