Reflections in a Golden Eye

Based on the novel by Carson McCullers, Marlon Brando stars as the hard-driving military officer whose latent homosexuality has led his passionate wife Leonora (Elizabeth Taylor) into the arms of another man, himself in a doozy of a relationship. Meanwhile the object of Brando's affection is also fixated on the needy Leonora in this complex drama of secret passions, reminiscent of Tennessee Williams.
