The Riddle
Ex-footballer Vinnie Jones abandons his tough guy image to play an ambitious reporter who becomes obsessed by a series of Thames-side murders following the discovery of an unpublished Charles Dickens' manuscript in the cellar of a pub. With his award-winning script, first-time helmer, Irishman Brendan Foley, has attracted a big name cast that includes Derek Jacobi, Vanessa Redgrave, Jason Flemyng and Mel Smith, in a tightly-wound Hitchcockian thriller that threads together stories from both the present and Victorian England.
