The Million Dollar Hotel

When it is discovered that a resident of a seedy Los Angeles boarding hotel, who was found dead, is the son of a media tycoon, FBI Special Agent Skinner (Mel Gibson) arrives to learn if it was suicide or murder. His investigation draws him into the lives of the building's quirky residents, rejects from society - one of whom may be the killer - in this moodily surreal and enchanting drama from Wim Wenders ('Wings of Desire'). Jeremy Davies, Milla Jovovich, Peter Stormare, Bud Cort, Amanda Plummer and Jimmy Smits are part of an eclectic ensemble. U2's Bono did the music, co-created the story and makes a blink-or-you'll-miss-it cameo as a bar patron.
