Denholm Elliot and Patricia Lawrence are the parents of Pattie, a young woman who needs 24-hour care following a hit-and-run accident. When a stranger turns up claiming to be an old friend of the daughter, and offering to take care of her, her parents are thrilled. But is this man the godsend he appears to be?
