Secret Ceremony

Based on the short story by Marco Denevi, this psychological thriller from acclaimed director Joseph Losey stars Mia Farrow as an unbalanced girl, who becomes convinced that ageing prostitute Leonora (Elizabeth Taylor) is her dead mother. Grieving after the recent death of her own daughter, Leonora plays out the pretence, and a bizarre relationship begins to form between the two women. Robert Mithcum and Peggy Ashcroft also star.
