Boom!

Hollywood royalty Taylor and Burton star in this outrageous tale of the richest woman in the world, kept company in her last days by an equally indulgent lothario of a poet. The film is credited with being Tennessee Williams' favourite adaptation of any of his plays (he also wrote the screenplay), but it was originally panned by audiences due to public opinion of the stars themselves and their simlarly self-important characters. An over-the-top classic.
