Farscape: Season 1
Following in the footsteps of 'Babylon 5' and the continued 'Star Trek' series, "Farscape" burst on to TV screens with a renewed vitality for the science fiction genre. American astronaut John Crichton is sucked through a worm-hole to the far side of the universe, where he becomes involved with a diverse group of rebels on a living ship. A fresh, humorous and relatable cast of characters quickly gained the show a devoted audience and the fantastic visuals (both CGI and Jim Henson-provided puppetry) make it stand-out sci-fi TV.
