The Golden Compass
Gifted with the last of the truth-telling Golden Compasses, young orphan Lyra Belacqua embarks on a daring journey to the Arctic Circle to find a missing friend. Joined by the intrepid Lee Scoresby (Sam Elliott), flying witch Serafina (Eva Green), and armoured bear Iorek (voiced by Ian McKellen), Lyra will take on a nefarious organization determined to destroy free will. Based on the first of the celebrated trilogy by Philip Pullman, this wondrous family adventure also stars Nicole Kidman, Daniel Craig and Christopher Lee.
