The Seeker: The Dark is Rising
A loose adaptation of Susan Cooper's children's fantasy books follows the tale of young Will (Alexander Ludwig) who discovers that he is the latest in a long line of immortal guardians. When the Dark led by the villainous Rider (Christopher Eccleston) threaten to overpower the Light, Will must venture out into the world to realize his destiny and ensure that evil is defeated. Ian McShane and Frances Conroy round out the cast in this modernized, Americanized version of the story.
