Eagle vs Shark

A quirky kiwi rom-com with Jemaine Clement of "Flight of the Conchords" fame as uber-geek Jarrod, an unlikely romantic foil to shy 'Meaty Boy' cashier, Lily (Loren Horsley). As their relationship begins, Jarrod is in training to take on an old bully (David Fane) from his hometown, and his focused self-absorption would test even the most devoted crush. However, Lily is nothing if not determined to get her nerd. Sweet and tangy, with a droll Joel Toebeck as Lily's brother, Taika Waiti's ("Two Cars, One Night") first feature film inevitably drew comparisons to indie hit "Napoleon Dynamite", but this is pure dry kiwi humour.
