Green Wing: Series 1

The bizarrely demented misadventures of the staff of a British hospital breathed new life into the 'Brit-com', with a unique filming style and surreal characters played by a who's who of English comedy talent. Tamsin Grieg is the under-deodorised new recruit, Dr Carolyn Todd; Stephen Mangan is the grotesquely Swiss Guy Secretan; Mark Heap plays the neuroses-laden Dr Statham with a diabolical lust for Joanna Clore (Pippa Haywood); and Mac is the wittty nice guy. There's no explaining this show, if it's your cup of tea then it's surreal comedy genius. If it isn't - it's just plain weird.
