The Brides of Dracula

Following the success of 'Dracula' (a.k.a. 'Horror of Dracula'), Hammer Films and director Terence Fisher returned with this lavish sequel. Despite the conspicuous lack of Dracula himself - Christopher Lee declined the role - it still features an intriging plot, stunning photography and period detail. David Peel provides the vampiric threat as a young Baron Meinster, with Yvonne Monlaur as the beautiful and unsuspecting French teacher. Also stars the iconic Peter Cushing as Dr Van Helsing.
