Frau Im Mond ( Woman in the Moon )

Director Fritz Lang's final silent epic. A rocket on its way to explore the moon is commandeered by a group of spies intent on plundering the moon's natural resources - gold. Arriving on the moon, the travellers find themselves stranded, facing a struggle to survive. Reportedly, Adolf Hitler was so overwhelmed by 'Woman in the Moon' that he used the rocket depicted in the film as the prototype for the dreaded V1 and V2 assault missiles.
