Crime Wave / Decoy

Film noir double feature features the underrated noir thriller 'Crime Wave' (1954), about a hardboiled LA cop out to get a 'reformed' ex-con who was led into a scheme by some old friends from the pen. It stars Sterling Hayden, Phyllis Kirk, and Charles Bronson. Next is 'Decoy' (1946), based on Stanley Rubin's very creative story about a femme fatale (Jean Gille) who brings her gangster boyfriend (Robert Armstrong) back from the dead after going to the gas chamber without telling her where he hid the loot.
