Hollywood Rocks 'n' Rolls in the 50s

A wonderful collection of performance clips that demonstrate how Hollywood helped rock & roll become one of America's favourite forms of entertainment in the 1950s. Top talents such as Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Pat Boone, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Little Richard are featured singing some of their most popular tunes. A highlight of the video is Elvis performing his hit "Jailhouse Rock." Fats Domino, Ricky Nelson, and Bill Haley also help bring the lively sounds of the '50s back to life during this lengthy retrospective.
