'Victim' (1961) The Police are chasing blackmail victim Jack Barrett, a wages clerk who has stolen a lot of money from his employer. Scared and on the run, he is trying desperately to get in touch with Melville Farr, a prosperous young barrister, but is apprehended by the police and commits suicide. Starring Dirk Bogarde and Sylvia Syms.
