The Colour of Magic
The first two novels of Terry Pratchett's Discworld series are adapted for the small screen with David Jason once again starring (he was Death's sidekick in 'Hogfather'), this time as the hapless wizard, Rincewind. Sean Astin plays Ankh Morpork's first tourist who, along with the wizard and a ferocious set of luggage, must battle to save the Discworld from ultimate destruction. Tim Curry is the evil Trymon and Jeremy Irons plays the Patrician in this undoubtedly colourful mini-series adaptation.
