Flash Gordon: 4 Classic Episodes

These four great episodes follow the voyages of space hero Flash Gordon portrayed by Steve Holland, Dale Arden (Irene Champlin) and Doctor Zarkov ("Joe" Nash) in this joint US-German production that was shot from 1954 thru 1955 in Germany. The intrepid Flash acts for the Galaxy Bureau of Investigation (G.B.I.) in a quest to keep the cosmos safe from evil tyrants, space pirates and exploding planets! "The Claim Jumpers" - Space Pirates, the outlaws of the universe, are always on the lookout for any chance to seize fortunes by force. None more so than the Black Pirate ship "The Shadow". Flash Gordon and the "Sky Flash" must track down the villainous "Shadow" and rid the Universe of these evil bandits. "Akim The Terrible" - Akim, the king of the "Black Planet", has a simple doctrine: to rob, cheat and betray his citizens in any way possible. Flash Gordon has to put a stop to his evil activities before they spread to other galaxies. "The Breath of Death" - Flash Gordon has to deliver a dangerous prisoner aboard the "Sky Flash" to the prison planet of "Gemini". Awaiting him is a killer who Flash sent to the prison planet and who badly wants to settle some scores. "Deadline at Noon" - The "Sky Flash" while on a routine outer space mission to the galaxy of dead planets finds that four of the five planets have exploded causing devastation in their wake. Unfortunately for Flash and the "Sky Flash" the fifth is on the verge of self-destruction. It is a race against time as Flash desperately struggles to return to base before it is too late.
