The Walker
Woody Harrelson is Carter Page, a popular and overtly gay socialite who mingles with the wives of America's most powerful men. When his good friend Lynn (Kristin Scott Thomas) becomes involved in a scandalous murder, Page steps in to protect her and her husband from the media glare, but becomes suspect number one in the process. Hounded by a self-righteous, ambitious D.A., Carter begins investigating the matter himself, with the help of his photographer boyfriend. Full of twists and turns, writer/director Paul Schrader has also populated his intriguing drama with a hefty supporting cast that includes Lauren Bacall, Lily Tomlin, Ned Beatty and Willem Dafoe.
