Infamous

The second film to examine Truman Capote's role in the murder trial that culminated in his book, 'In Cold Blood'. Shot just a few months after 'Capote', this explores more fully the relationship between the famous writer and his subject and obsession, murderer Perry Smith, played here by Daniel Craig. Entertaining and poignant, the film also gives us Capote the socailite, surrounding him with a harem of upwardly mobile women played by Gwyenth Paltrow, Sigourney Weaver, Isabella Rossellini and Juliet Stevenson, with Sandra Bullock as his friend, Harper Lee.
