Victor Mancini (Sam Rockwell) shouldn't be a likeable character. He attends Sex Addicts Anonymous, looking for women to bed; he pretends to choke in restaurants and cons rich patrons into saving him and sending him money; and he sometimes wishes that his mother (Anjelica Huston), who suffers from dementia, would just get it over with and die. Savagely pitch-black comedy from the pen of 'Fight Club' author, Charles Palahniuk; directed by (and also featuring) Clark Gregg, a stalwart of stage and film, grown out of the Atlantic Theatre Company along with fellow alumni David Mamet and William H. Macy.
