The Halo Effect

Stephen Rea plays Fatso, owner of one of the worst takeaways in Dublin. His heart is in the right place, but a gambling addiction means keeping his head above water is a daily struggle. While his debts are spiralling out of control - a fact not lost on the local loan sharks - Fatso is still trying to fix every hapless loser who crosses his path; mostly his own staff. A bittersweet Irish comedy from new talent, writer/director Lance Daly.
