Finding Amanda

Matthew Broderick stars as Taylor, a hack TV writer, hopelessly, but secretly, addicted to gambling, alcohol and drugs. Which makes dealing with the current family crisis rather awkward - he's off to Vegas to try and convince his niece to go into rehab. Part black humour and part drama, it is the directorial debut for Peter Tolan, co-creator of the popular series 'Rescue Me'. Maura Tierny co-stars as Taylor's increasingly suspicious wife, Steve Coogan features as a sleazy casino pit boss, and Brittany Snow is the eponymous Amanda.
