Sinking of Japan

In the wake of a massive earthquake it is feared Japan will sink beneath the sea; estimates are it could happen within 40 years, but one scientist believes it could happen sooner. A lot sooner. Based on a novel by Sakyo Komatsu, and previously made into a film, 'Submersion of Japan' in 1973, this is a special effects do-over with visually stunning set-pieces from newbie director Shinji Higuchi, a self-confessed fan of the original disaster classic.
