The Chase

Tormented ex-GI Chuck Scott (Robert Cummings) takes a job with gangster Eddie Roman (Steve Cochran) as an innocent chauffeur but soon becomes embroiled in his world of violence. When Roman's wife, Lorna (Michele Morgan), asks for help escaping the criminal life, Chuck is endangered by the mob boss himself, sinister henchmen and perhaps his own misplaced trust. Co-stars Peter Lorre.
