Fallen Angel
Otto Preminger and Dana Andrews followed their successful partnership in the making of 'Laura' with this lesser-known noir. Andrews plays a down-on-his-luck press agent/con-man whom fate dumps in a small Califonia town and right in the middle of a love triangle and a murder. Alice Faye co-stars and famously quit movies for nearly 20 years after being disappointed with her role in the final cut. Based on the novel by Marty Holland, and also starring Linda Darnell, Charles Bickford and John Carradine.
