Children of the Dog Star

12-year-old Gretchen goes to stay with her uncle for the holidays and lets her imagination and talent for all things mechanical run wild. She is particularly fascinated by the ancient brass weathervane and, along with new-found friend Ronny, she'll discover the power behind this old piece of metal - really a link to Sirius, the dog star. This thrilling miniseries was another star in TVNZ's crown when it aired two years after their hit 'Under the Mountain'.
